Principal Solutions Architect

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join our team, acting as a strategic and hands-on expert for high-impact architecture initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep AWS expertise, strong cross-cloud knowledge (Azure, GCP, IBM), and a track record of successfully leading enterprise-level integrations (e.g., Salesforce). You’ll support architectural audits, modernization efforts, new designs, and platform integrations, often in complex or mixed environments. We’re not looking for a narrowly focused engineer — we need a versatile generalist with strategic thinking and the ability to jump into deep technical challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical advisor for architecture strategy, modernization, and integration projects.
  • Conduct architecture audits and lead solution design across cloud and enterprise platforms.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures on AWS, and optionally across Azure, GCP, or IBM Cloud.
  • Integrate cloud systems with enterprise platforms
  • Recommend and implement Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and CI/CD practices
  • Support pre-sales, technical assessments, and client discovery sessions when needed.
  • Mentor internal engineering teams and provide documentation and architectural guidance.

Required Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • 6+ years of experience in architecture or senior engineering roles
  • Proven ability to lead cross-platform architecture design and implementation
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
  • Deep understanding of networking, IAM, compliance, security, DR, and multi-region design
  • Track record of successful enterprise integrations and legacy modernization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-cloud experience (Azure, GCP, IBM)
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP
  • Understanding of architectural governance, enterprise IT standards, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Development or DevOps background is a strong plus

Soft Skills:

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and proposing structure
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on implementation ability
  • Highly self-directed with a consulting mindset
