IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer to join our Cloud/Digital Tech Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining business rules using IBM ODM, collaborating closely with business analysts and solution architects to support Marken’s mission of delivering critical therapies to patients worldwide

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain business rules using IBM ODM (Decision Center & Decision Server).
Collaborate with Marken’s business analysts and architects to gather, understand, and refine rule requirements.
Develop and deploy Decision Services and integrate them with Marken's enterprise systems via APIs.
Conduct unit testing and support QA/UAT cycles.
Optimize rule performance and ensure high reliability
Provide post-deployment support and collaborate on future improvements.
Maintain clear documentation of rule logic and design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with IBM ODM 8.x or higher.
Proficiency with Rule Studio, Decision Center, and Decision Server
Understanding of BRMS principles and best practices.
Strong integration skills using Java, REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in a client-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, pharma) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Marken’s domain (clinical logistics, supply chain) is advantageous
Exposure to containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
IBM ODM certification is a bonus.
